Phobia of Jurong Point

Don't expect an organised post.

It was my 5th consecutive day of travelling to Jurong Point. (I lost count and told people it was the 4th). 5th consecutive boring routine of rushing between places like Fairprice Xtra, Unimax, Popular, NTUC Fairprice, Japan Home etc etc.

The worst thing was to spend 80% of the time I was in Jurong Point waiting. Waiting for printing to be done, waiting for my turn at the NTUC queue. Today was record breaking of 45min and I had no hands to hold my textbook to study at the same time.

It was a test of my patience and endurance level.

Was so disappointed that I couldn't donate blood today. Probably a good thing, otherwise I would have fainted already right? But that's why they give iron pills.

Look forward to Dec!!!

That is like finally some interesting work for me to do :)

Anyway, one think I dislike about Central is that it feels dirty. In the sense that it's unhygienic?
I remember back when it first opened, I was really disgusted by their toilets. The smell was overwhelming, like they haven't washed it for days!

Even until now, the toilet still kinda stinks. But how is that even possible!? There's like almost no one in the mall. Even more quiet then the library.

The first meal that I had over there ever since I started working was at Subway and oh my goodnessssssss, there was a cockroach waving to me there. When I told the guy at the sandwich bar, he just smirked. WTH? He probably didn't know the consequences, that's why he did nothing about it! NOTHING?

I was kinda pissed so I told the shop in charge and she was thankful so I was like fine.

Ever since, I have not eaten at subway there. Dining there is actually quite expensive :(
My next 2 meals were nice, but on average $7. That's more than my pay/hr.
So I became determined to just eat the awesome blossom $1 sausage bun from Barcode Bakery.
And I don't know how I can live without Barcode and Ya Kun. Gong Cha is appreciated to, but I can live without it too, so expensive but so tempting since there's no queue.

To show how much Ya Kun means to me and how it became a part of my memory at work...here's a cam-whoring picture.

And I'm afraid that it will become a bad habit that I kill every new friend I make.
I have made friends with 3 cockroaches, 1 fly and 1 UCO (Unidentified Crawling Object)

Red Cross Rocks my Thin Socks

Was researching about shoes just now, and came across this term, "welt".

This word was faintly familiar. If I'm not wrong, it was used during my Red Cross days, that we had to polish the welt too and make sure that it's clean.

Do you frellies remember this?

I used to have a toothbrush for brushing off the dust and polish clumps that land on the welt of my boots. Occasionally, I would brush off the dirt on the bottoms soles of my boots and polish them as well. -.-

Polishing boots was such a big thing, so important. Whether it is at home, at the back of our spacious classroom during free time or during Hong Lao Shi's chinese class, we often spend hours polishing them (or is it just me?). Happy memories :)

NCC/NPCC people would ask us, "You don't need to burn one ah?" or "Why you never use the brush". But our boots were actually fake leather, so most of the unfortunate squadmates who attempted it spoiled their boots in the end.

I tried hanging my boots out in the sun before to melt the layer of kiwi before. Haha.

And some confessions..

I only started polishing my boots when nearing to Sec 2, because I thought they were already shiny!

Then I started out by using liquid polish (cheating) which was really effective for the first 5 seconds. I think my squadmates secretly hate me for that.

This maybe a bit too late, but thank you Diana and your brother for talking to me on the phone and attempting to teach me how to polish boots with socks and kiwi when I couldn't get it to shine.

Dear squadmates, has your polish cloth ever disappeared into the thin air before? Just because your other frellies borrowed and passed around and around and never comes back to you?

And do you guys remember how guilty we will feel whenever we step onto other people's boots accidentally?? lol

I kinda miss my Red Cross boots, I wonder if my juniors threw them away, or are they rotting in the Red Cross room?

I need to blog! I can totally feel that holidays are about to be over.

Just registered online for NTU hall. Can totally smell the uni days already :\

I will have a new best friend cum room mate soon! Excited much! And reliable sources have it that she is crazy like me. Can't wait to confirm that, but one thing for sure is she's friendly. The closest that we have been was like prom dress shopping with her, Sharry and other's of Sharry's friends who I want to self-proclaim are my friends too.

Although I've only been working a few half-days a week, I'm already like super looking forward to off-days. Must be the lack of sleep that's making me wear out.
Slept like a log till past noon today, did my assignments + ate lunch before being 30min late to meet SK. Seriously, my punctuality is getting up to my nerves. I neeeeeed to stop being late.

I had to cab to work yesterday and the taxi driver really put me to shame man. It was only his 2nd day being a cabby and he was honest that he didn't really know the route. We sort of chatted and I asked him why his driving. He said he had another shift job in the IT industry and this job was to supplement his family income.

I immediately felt ashamed for telling him that I was working p/t for more pocket money/school fees. Why did I even spend money to cab if I was really that sincere in saving up? And I keep eating expensive food :( The cheapest meal I have had at Central so far is like $5. I need to become a loyal customer at Barcode and totally spam their $1 sausage buns.

So it's suppose to be about my off day!
Met SK at Orchard and realised Thai Embassy was having their Thai Festival 2011. Being a fan of everything Thai, of course I must go in see see and walk walk.

Ended up getting Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, Soy Milk, Durian Chips and watched their culture performance. There was this really touched feeling deep in my heart.
I feel close to them. I think I was a Thai in my past life.

And Super 8 is quite a nice movie. But Shaw at Lido really still sucks. The feeling still isn't like really nice, the ads and technology seemed lousy still. There were latecomers sitting at the back row, and their head actually cast shadows on the screen. The worst of all, my arm rest had stupid cheese sauce/chili sauce on it, and on both sides. I can't help but to scold the F word. Thank goodness I was wearing short sleeve and had wet tissue.

Ate Baluku after that!

I don't know why he must pose like this. I know my boyfriend is a weirdo. But please accept him in this society. And Singtel, please stop telling me that he cannot be rich.

I think I mentioned about some filming going on at my shop (no, I don't own it literally). So it's actually an infotainment show called Vasantham Express, hosted by two very popular celebs, Guna and Gayathri. It's a shame that I actually didn't know who they were. But I'm definitely honoured to have a chance to see them at work and I was like, "No wonder they are so popular celebs." Guna is like super handsome and jokey kind, I guess he has his own charisma and actually looks a bit like Taufik. Gayathri is quite sweet looking and is like always smiling. Plus the crew, they are all super friendly. They have my respect.

Last night, the image of the old NTUC (before renovation) at Bukit Merah Central came into my mind. Then I tried to picture out the whole supermarket in my mind, but I guess my memory is quite distorted now.

Those were my primary school days.
Almost every other day after school, mummy will bring me there, and at times with Vera + her mom and other friends. We would eat at Mc'Donalds, which is no longer there, and sometimes KFC and other places. I remembered that's my first time eating KFC in Singapore and I fell in love with the mash potato cos it reminded me of Canada. I ordered like 2 small mash potatos and 1 large one that very day.

Then there's Bestway, some departmental store, where I bought my sleeping bag for P5 camp. The sleeping bag which my buddy egg cracked on at my Sec 3 Red Cross camp.

Inside/Beside NTUC, there's a Singapore Pools. Once my mom was buying Toto/4D there, so I had to wait for her outside. I saw my primary school crush and his brother outside.

My first handphone, Nokia 3310, with awesome Snake and Space Impact to play with on bus rides and when shitting. I had 700 free smses a month and it cost $9.90 a month only.

Memories are actually such wonderful things. I hope I can hold onto them forever, that's why here's this blog post that probably makes no sense to you.

Mediacorp is gonna film my work place tomorrow! Gotta put mask tonight and wake up earlier tomorrow to dress up :) Even if I'm not the one being filmed, there's a chance that I might be talent-spotted right?

Anyway, these 2 days my eyes have been really red. I think they got sun burnt? It's like when I sleep, there a lot of watery thing, like pus. When I wake up they harden and become eyeshit, so I can barely open my eyes. Sounds gross? Haha.

Plus my throat is very screwed again, I keep coughing. So I drank a lot of water last night, and this morning I woke up with a super swollen face. So swollen that my eye bags blended in. LOL.

I haven't blogged much about my new job right? It's like actually no longer that new. Haha.
I'm like really good at finding things to do when there's nothing to do. And thanks to the dusty lift shaft "linked" to our shop, I can find dust to clean everyday. But it's really irritating to mop the floor, cos there's always unknown black particles stuck on the floor which I have to scrape off with my thumb (with wet wipes). They might be a combination of dust and dead skins. Haha.

It has been quite a week with lots of meet-ups.

Needless to explain, I will never get sick meeting my awesome girlfriends to eat zi char, donate blood, play Wii, cycle and eat Manhattan Fish Market. I think I have spent more time with them than with SK. Of course right? 4 years of school, red cross and fun plus 3 years of meet-ups.

I just went to measure the distance we cycled at ECP, which is about (3.47km x 2)+ (3.58+8.8)x2 = 31.7km!!

Managed to meet up with Alicia to swim at Anchorage too! This is like the most serious swim I have ever had with her. In past, we only chit chat. I think I'm pretty lousy at swimming since I have been swimming occasionally whereas Alicia hasn't done it for like forever, she's still like 1.5x faster than me! Can't believe we didn't take a single photo together and she still owes me money!

So anyway, Leon came back last Fri (3rd Jun)! That was something exciting, but as a head start, Audreeeeeeee and her love, me, met up that day for a lovely date. After being lovey dovey on and off for so many years (since sec 2), we officially met up- just the both of us. It felt like we met each other online for quite sometime and this was the first time meeting up. It began with me being late, ice-cream, dinner, arcade and walking around clarke quay :)

We seem to look different in both photos taken on 2 different days.

So on Saturday was the gathering of Leon's friends! It's like some really good networking opportunity. I love making new friends :)

And I was very very very glad to have bought card games in Hong Kong, especially Saboteur! This is like a great ice-breaking card game, plus it's easy to teach! Seeing everyone (I suppose) enjoying the game makes me feel fantastic too! Like all the never-have-been-mine- clothes traded for this game is all worth it.
And finally I'm not a saboteur all the time :)

Then there was Korean buffet with Mandy, Meixian, Melson, Wilson and SK <3 on Monday. It was a pity that I had late lunch that day so I was like still fullll when I went there for the buffet. I guess it's even nicer than Seoul Garden! I wonder how's Melson doing in army now? It's really weird to start to see people around me go NS. I really wanna experience it too!

I feel lazy to continue already. I've got other things to do and btw, I'm finally employed! Thank You Thank You! :)

I miss Phuket all of a sudden. Especially spending time shopping in Watsons.
I'm so jealous that Verna is going to Bangkok! It's like almost every Singaporean has been there.
Since I'm at South East Asia now, I should be taking advantage of this awesome location and travel to Thailand more often right? I really like the people and culture there.

And this feeling of being unemployed and income-less really sucks big core. I'm getting pretty demoralised that out of the 10 over jobs I have applied for, none is successful. It's just plain awful.

Anyway, cycling at ECP was pretty awesome today. It's the furthest that I have ever cycled to! Almost reaching T1-3 of Changi Airport but just now there yet. We took an hour to cycle back to return our bikes. My ass hurts big time though.

Hope I will wake up with aches on my legs!

Tonight, I wish for a phone call to tell me I'm employed.

Most awesome Zi Char and girls' outing

It was a really productive day yesterday.

I slept at 5am (applying for some award thing which I totally screwed up cos I missed out a lot of stuffs) and waking up at 9.30am for MBS interview.

And I just gave up ironing my outfit for the interview. Printed the super bloody expensive resume ($3.20 for two sheets of one-page colour printing) at Queensway Shopping Centre. The only reason why I patronise them is that I can't print colour at home and they are the nearest.

I totally feel like they are scammers la! The people there, their supervisor especially, got no service one! She's rude and arrogant all the time. And when you ask about the price, they will just say 1.50 per piece. And when you are going to pay, it will end up 1.60 just because they added the GST only then. Like super wtf unethical. ARGH. I WANNA POUR KEROSENE ON THEM. I must do something to boycott them seriously....

I should have gotten colour printer instead of just Black and White. If you ask me what's my biggest regret in life, first will be not sleeping enough and thus my aging skin, followed by the printer thing. And then, maybe not attempting to try out acting. Or continuing with CYA or learn Muay Thai or joining VI. Or drinking more papaya milkshakes. I have so much regrets, that sucks.

Maybe it's not too late for now..
OMG! There's Ice-Skating Club, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and RCHN. Okay, they have so little choices. Like less exciting than in SP.

Shit, I'm digressing so much. So my interview at MBS was like? It was only 3 minutes. If not, less. The whole point is they probably won't hire me for the temp admin/HR job that I applied for cos I could only commit for 2 months. So I said it's fine if I can join housekeeping and banquet too :( I realllly love MBS (RWS as well) a lot. It's such a great place! There's air-con everywhere (almost)! The place is so spacious like the airport and I just like it.

So I brought my disappointed broken heart home before heading out to meet Jazreel darling to submit our docs at NTU. It's quite a nice campus, but definitely didn't look as friendly and fun as SP. After being stuck in a jam for about an hour, we finally reached Verna's place! Start of the awesome adventure!

Within 3 minutes on her car, cars at the back honked at us, we went up the curb and came down. And she kept going on to the wrong lane, like while reaching Commonwealth to fetch Joyce, she stuck to the right lane, probably think that she's in America. And while reaching the Zi Char place, she turned into a one-way road, just that it was the wrong direction! And 2 cars in front avoided us, thank fully. While at Holland V's car park, this super nice lady pointed to us where she parked her car and was leaving. BUT this bloody idiot smelly egg stole our lot! SUCK YOUR ASS BENGER! (It was really funny though)

Can't blame her right? After all princesses are used to being chauffeured around. Nevertheless, I am still very thankful for her driving us around. And taking the front seat was really ~~dangerous~~ thrilling. I could see everything so clearly and could shout in the car at the people outside like nobody's business. Poor Verna must have been so stressful plus having Joyce and Jazreel at the back seat giving advises.

And the best reasons to take the front seat, you can reach the honk easily and have access to the mirror in front/on top of you. <3 Verna!! So now I don't have to decide like Rebecca Black, whether to take the front or back seat. :)

So we had super awesome Zi Char at this Blk 116 Commonwealth place I think, called double chefs. Was reallllly mad full and happy and cheap (the food, not me).

Ice-cream and Saboteur session at Holland V Swensens rounded the day off. The three gfs were like soo into the game, and I was the exact opposite. Who will be so suay to become the Saboteur for 3 consecutive rounds out of the 4?! If you don't understand the game, just imagine it to be a bad position to be in, and it's a 3 vs 1 thing :( But I guess I was a really good actress in trying to act like I'm a gold miner. I remember setting Joyce up. HAHA.

Should totally burn those cards.

The only thing that motivated me to blog was the dream that I had.
It was basically us four girls again having some holiday at some beach in Japan. Then suddenly all the water at the beach retreated far off the shoreline, so we thought Tsunami(which was true) was coming and we ran for our lives.

Then we went through this sushi bar in a shopping complex and while inside, we tried to steal/grab sushis cos we thought we might be stranded and have no food in Japan. The owner came chasing after us and had the security to close all exits of the mall! It was really scary. The security came to us and we were saying things like you have to let us out, we only need the sushi for energy, after eating we still have to go back out there to safe the people, because we are from Red Cross. (like totally lol)

So being torn apart, the security stepped aside and acted like he didn't see us and we had to cut open the fence ourselves to run away. Then we run run run and this time, the scene was in Thailand and we were being chased by like Thai hooligans. And we reached this dusty place with stadium kind of lights and a lot of cute thai boys playing soccer and we just stopped and stare at them. :) (Do I have to say one of them is SK, in case he gets jealous?) The people stopped chasing us, so we went to a food court and I ordered Pad Thai although it was not in the menu. That's all :) It was an awesome dream!

P.S. Thank you for the Kit Kat Chunky Joyce! I like the word "Kat" in Kit Kat.

It was an awesome and fruitful day!
Other than being late in meeting Verna, the only bad thing was I failed to resist temptations twice. Nevertheless, I still did a great job, only had subway for lunch (need), green milk tea (need+want) and some cheap bangles (want).

This is like the first official meet-up with people ever since I came back from HK. Meeting up with SK is different, because that's dating! Even if it's just eating cheap noodles that cant fill up our stomach, then laugh our way to the bank, walk around aimlessly and shop at Watsons.

Verna is totally obsessed with Uniqlo's bra top and she almost likes everything she that she sees. Like the super expensive bunny shirt from editor's market. This bunny iphone 4 jacket (even though she doesn't use iphone). Japanese products from Taka. Macbook Pro?

So if you are stalking Princess Verna, her admirer, her fan etc, you may wanna contact me for more details on what you can get for her :) I hope I can remember.

What made my day even more fruitful was that I went to the library to borrow books that I will never read and will go overdue, and I cut my hair myself!

I hope I can stop rotting and really find an awesome job really soon. Whyyyyy are there no email replies? Who wants to go banqueting with me? Or should I try out housekeeping at MBS? If I'm 21, I would have applied to be a croupier...

And...Secret Garden is really really really nice! No wonder so many people, including Joanne Ma'am went head over heels about the show. :)

Maybe it’s pms. But whatever. I’m always having it right? After pre-ms, it’s present-ms, then post-ms.

So to sum it up, today is another sucky day.

After some hi-tea with my mom and random aunties at Kowloon (super near Mongkok), my mom had to go home cos there’s people coming to view the flat. It was already frustrating enough trying to convince my mom to let me shop at Mongkok alone, and what’s worse was my auntie was around. She’s really restrictive. If I am her child, I would have run away from home already, just like how a kite snaps if you pull the string too tightly. I guess if you put me in a communist country, I will be the first person to start a revolution. And I hate it that when people are trying to make a stand, they don’t even have a proper explanation to support their stand.

I know I look super innocent, but I’m not dumb or stupid to fall into lame traps. I am the vicious one who will be tricking people instead. If people try to rob/kidnap/rape me, of course I will do my best to protect myself, but there’s nothing much I can do right? Show them my cute biceps?

So anyway, I finally gained a tiny bit of freedom and peace in the end. I love myself too much that I need to spend time alone with myself. If you remember from one of my previous posts, there’s this super chio shirt I fell in love with. I think I was trying to rub salt into my own wound by attempting to find that shirt. But it was the only way to make me 死心 right? Mega sighs. I did buy some random stuffs, like a lot of card games, 2 stickers, a water bottle and a bag (those BYOB kind). I think I shopped the whole Mongkok within those 4 hours since I literally skipped all the shops that sold clothes, bags, shoes and other meaningless things. Sighs.

Anyway, my aunty was like commenting about the scary amount of pimples I have on my back and nag nag nag. I wanted to tell that it’s all caused by all the grief and unhappiness that’s trapped in me and giving my hormones roller coaster rides. I feel like a two-faced monster now D: It’s like I’m supposed to be really angelic, optimistic and cheerful, but my mind is swearing so often now. I think I need to exercise more, best is learn muay thai.

There are however stuffs that did made me smile a bit, like finally eating smelly tofu (but I’m sad that I didn’t take photo), drinking Comebuy bubble tea (which was of minimum help), eating ice cream cone from the ice cream van, curry fish ball. Smelly tofu is actually delicious and I’m like craving for more?

Thankfully the funniest thing that happened today wasn’t having to have red eyes for wearing my decomposing contact lenses. I’m obviously exaggerating, they are just monthly lenses worn since Chinese new year. It’s suppose to be funny because I used to be the one who nag at people who are so dumb to actually risk their precious eyesight for stretching the limit of their lenses. I hope I won’t regret, but I seriously hate wearing specs.

Okay. So the funniest thing today was that I was walking on the streets of Mongkok, holding smelly tofu on one hand and bubble tea on the other. Then this guy approached me and kept saying 一分钟(one minute) in Cantonese (I dunno what he want to promote, but surely doesn’t benefit me). Then I sighed out “oh my god” in English, supposedly to act like I’m in Singaporean-shock and he changed to English immediately! “Please give me one minute” he said and I tried to siam but he kept blocking my way. Then I took a deep breath and said very sternly and loudly, “Please let me go”. It was very funny cos that guy was shocked and took a step back then my angelic face come back naturally and I even said thanks. Lol. If I said thanks in Cantonese, would he be angry instead? This is actually so fun, please happen more.

我常常告诉自己，活在这个世界上就凡事都要平心尽力地去做，不要让自己有后悔的机会。
人身好如一场戏，可惜它是现场直播，不许倒带。一旦机会错过了，就可能再也没有机会了。
我得承认我每天都有错过许许多多的机会。比如说是和身边的人说句赞扬的话，或是多踏出多一步和客人聊天。可是今天我所错过的机会却让我感触凉伤。听起来会很傻，为了那么一点小事而要想那么多，emo那么久。
来了香港一个星期，昨天终于有机会踏出新界，到香港岛。而今天是去汪角（购物天堂）。Ok. I think I can express this part better in English, cos it’s anger over emo.
So I finally have the chance to shop/window shop properly today at Mongkok, where it’s mostly quite cheap stuffs and all. I knew this trip to Hong Kong isn’t mainly about shopping, unlike most of my previous trips where all I could think of was to shop all the time. Maybe I have matured a little, or maybe because I know I will need to save up for uni. But seriously, I believe it doesn’t have to be to the extent that I can’t even buy a mega fucking nice t-shirt for HKD20.
I saw this t-shirt (it’s the last piece and in proper condition) and it’s really special. It’s difficult to describe, but the concept is that it looks like two pieces of t-shirts sewn together at a position that they are symmetrical. So when you wear it, you are wearing only of those 2 shirts and one of your hand will have to go through the collar part of the other shirt (as a sleeve), and the rest of the extra shirt will just hang around. It’s really unique and it was like love at first sight. Plus it’s only HKD20 which is about SGD3++. It’s a steal man! Seriously! With that amount of money, you probably can’t even buy yourself a proper pair of underwear. If you calculate by my pay, it takes less than 30 minutes to buy that shirt. And that shirt is cheaper than almost any meal that I have had so far. That’s how cheap it is, and the quality is not being compromised.

But what the fuck. Shopping with my mom meant that it was only polite/respect that I asked her for permission before buying that shirt, like it has always been. So when she was paying for her own loots at the cashier, I had my last chance of asking her and she was like screaming at me to put the shirt back and using her scary expression to show her “authorities”. Her reason was like I had too much clothes. So what? It means that there’s nothing left (clothes) on earth for me to buy already because I’m not going to outgrow my clothes (I’m not letting this to happen) and my clothes are not going to wear and tear so fast. It concludes that my shopping bags will be empty when I get back to Singapore. That’s how fucking sad. Not even a SGD3 shirt.

I was really like moodless, since there’s no point shopping anymore. So I wandered around on my own, (I have almost always preferred to be alone) and now, I regret not being rebellious once more and return to purchase that shirt. I guess even if I see that same shirt selling back at SIN in future even at 10 times its price, I will buy it. To commemorate this fucked-up day, I am going to donate SGD30 to somewhere. To make the loss of the never-have-been-mine-shirt all worthwhile. I’m not sure where to donate, I shall see. Maybe somewhere online.

And I’m starting to forget (or already forgotten) why I have always been stopping myself from using vulgarities. Really. I have forgotten. What’s the point? Why did I dislike people using it too? Vulgarities have lost their true meanings too right? People are using them so often, they don’t hurt anymore. I think I’m losing myself. I miss my girlfriends (and boyfriend). I need some dosage of David Choi, Timbre and Singapore. Sighs..

Fuck my life and ignore me. I just want to rant because there’s no one to talk to here. Even the internet is not responding to me.

And you know what, I kind of regret publicizing my blog on fb and I have never thought of changing my url ever again. So heck.

HK Day 4

I'm secretly (no longer) in love with the playlist on Halimah's blog.
Nothing much today.

Home renovation errands and...just dinner at the neighbourhood.
But I had the rare chance to walk around myself, around the neighbourhood.
It was great to get some peaceful time for myself. Explored the sports stadium, supermarket, gardens, parks etc. Looked at people play chess, purposely sat near two boys (students) to eavesdrop their conversation. I love people watching :)

And in this kind of weather in Hong Kong, it means drink here pee there. The interval is almost immediate, either that my bladder has spoilt or the weather is too cold or my body is absorbing the water too quickly. I keep wanting to pee a lot.

Other than that..my internet connection sucks and I can't upload photos :(
I'm still glad that I have internet.

Ohhhhhhh. One very important thing, my distant cousin, but really, not that distant, gave me a Hello Kitty plushie key chain. It's soooo sweet of her! Plus it's like she has one (pilot), and I have one too (air stewardess). :) :) Must snap picture and show off on my blog. Haha.

Another day of freedom! Since I have no visa to enter mainland, I had to loiter around at Sheung Shui while mummy and brother go visit grandparents.

Actually I was kinda scared about shopping alone. Like I can't haggle well, once I open my mouth people will know I'm foreigner. So I ended up in the library for 4 hours, reading 2 travel guide books, and a ton of magazines. So this is how I feel independent :\

I was stuck there for so long until my hunger was unbearable, so I went to search for dinner. Somewhere with plenty of seats- McDonald's. I can't possibly use my bag to reserve seat ma. So I literally sat facing the window people watching while people walking by watch me watch them. Lol. I don't bother.

The Macs here seems to taste better. Burger aside (name: big n tasty), the fries taste more potatoish here and the coke is less sweet which I assume is nicer. And most importantly, it's cheaper. They have the 1-3pm special lunch deal too!

Nothing much today, but my internet sucks.

HK Day 3

Although I am unfamiliar with Hong Kong, I am not a tourist here so I don’t do touristy stuff. So today can basically be summarised as non-stop eating. It seemed more like a torture than pleasure. Breakfast at home was a raisin bread plus Ovaltine (HK style Milo). Speak of Milo, while doing grocery shopping yesterday, I saw Milo! They sell it all along, but this time it’s in a glass jar! Like same kind of packaging as Ovaltine and Horlick, so why Hong Kong people like this style? Is it cos there’s winter so they scared metal can contract? Oh, and the Milo is made in Shanghai leh. And they sell a lot of beers, like in NTUC, half a row of shelf is beer and the other half is wine, but over here is half is can beer and the other half is bottled beer.
Then lunch was at Café de Coral (2nd time) this trip with maple syrup small chicken chop, 2 sausage, a toast and a milk tea (+leftovers from other people). After which, was pineapple bun + soup at my auntie’s house immediately.
Cabbed to this place call Lau Fo Shan, it’s famous for their live seafood and dried goods, those seafood kind. My mom bought insanely lot of salted fish, like 26 packets, and there’s 3 fish in each packet. It’s not ikan bilis size leh, it’s like those 20 cm long kind. I can imagine my clothes stinking like crazy when I get back to SIN.
After an hour’s of choosing and bargaining, it’s back to auntie’s house for guava, kueh and soup session. I’m already damn full at the time.
Then another hour later, it’s dinner (at 5+). My sleeping hours are like almost perfect now, but my eating hours have gone haywire. I ordered the tea-time Char Siew Rice (usually smaller portion), but the amount of rice they give is as though it’s free. They fill your bowl to over the brim and once you dig your spoon in, the rice will definitely spill out. And I really dislike the fact that my mom keeps ordering obviously-more-than-enough food for herself and then only eat half of it. The rest will just be PUSHED into our plates/bowls. I don’t really like to see food go to waste, so I will always try to finish it. What I really hate is that when the food is almost worthless/very cheap and it doesn’t do your body any good, you are still forced to consume it. For example, dispensed soft drinks.
So after dinner, I went to walk around the small ulu neighbourhood shopping mall and there’s 2 shops selling hello kitty + other cartoon kind of stuffs! Super tempting you know. But I remembered that the previous time I bought the souvenirs at impulse cos last minute, so I spent a lot of money D: This time, I came here poor and almost broke, so I have to think damn wisely. Please don’t be disappointed if I get you a lousy/cheap present or don’t even get any. I suffer from immense stress everything I make a decision on what to buy for people. Plus I have to buy small items so I can hide from my mom ok. So many factors to consider, so stress. To add on, everyone (from Singapore to Hong Kong) thinks my Cantonese pronunciation is very bad, it’s pretty obvious I’m not a local, how to bargain well!? D: EMO. I could have done better in Thailand. The shop owners here are either old or really super money face or I don’t know what, flirting skills are useless.
If possible, tell me what you want then I try my best to get for you? Oh! And they have all those pirated card games! Like Saboteur, Citadels, Bang, Boggle Slam, Frank’s Zoo, 6nimmit.
Anyway, it was back to my auntie’s place for 2nd round of fruits. And now I’m home. That’s my day. I want to go jogging tomorrow. I need to release my grieves and get a life.

This post was suppose to be longer, but my mood is all screwed up from getting scoldings. I need to take communication courses.

HK Day 1 and 2

Honestly speaking, the plane ride I took seemed longer than previous ones. Probably due to the 30min delay (heavy rain, vision was only about 7m when in the cab). Oh, got this ang moh guy talk to me when at the holding area. And I wasn’t with my mom and brother. Ok, that was just really random, we were just talking about the delay.

Then my mom and I watched Swan Lake on the plane! I was deciding between Burlesque, Morning Glory and Swan Lake. Some parts were like quite disgusting and scary, where as the horny parts were just awkward. Cos there’s this part the girl masturbated herself and my mom asked me if the girl had both sexual organs (she doesn’t understand English, so she didn’t know the coach asked her to touch herself). Okay, if this goes on, my blog will be flagged. So I don’t really understand the show, so was the girl crazy all along or did she become crazy somewhere along the movie? And a lot of things are imagined by her right? Does it include the damn freaking crazy black wings and feathers growing on her? I’m getting goosebumps. And I HATE THE PART WHERE SHE PEELED HER FINGER SKIN! I really want to erase it off my mind now.

And this reminds me, I watched a video shared by some friend on fb about this woman giving birth to a baby. What shocked me wasn’t because its uncensored, but how the hole looked like it was going to tear apart when the baby was coming out. IT’S DAMN SCARY AND PAIN LOOKING! I know there’s such thing as pain killer, buttttttttt omgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg! I don’t want to think.

Plane tickets are really expensive (even I’m so li hai I bought it at the lowest promotional fare), so must make full use of it. I stuffed myself with the whole meal + my mom’s leftovers including ice cream and bun + one white wine + one red wine + one apple juice. And shit that I forgot to use their toilet! But luckily I spent the rest of the time camwhoring. My shoes are my best solemate (and soulmate), so must camwhore with them also. So as usual, we took the bus home and changed to light rail. Takes about 100min to get home. Our luggages got strewn all over on the bus. Lol

After cleaning up the house, finally time to bathe and sleep! And I BROKE MY RECORD!! Without washing hair, I only took 4min plus to bathe. No choice, it’s too damn cold (even with hot water). Other than having backaches (I think my back spoil already), I had a good sleep.

You can call today an admin day. Went to eat mega heavy brunch (I’m sorry I wasted food, I could only finish half of it) at some neighbourhood typical cha chan teng floody with nearby construction workers. It was really lively, it was like a date with my brother cos we occupied one table while the aunties+mummy occupied another. So I ordered my own food! Good job Chi Shan!

Went to open a bank account which left me all broke now. Cos all my money are like stucked in the bank now. So peeps, if you wish to be kind, pleasssseeeeee transfer money into my account. My beloved SK, check your email for my account number, there’s no upper limit. I was speed-outside-the-shop-window today at tmt plaza today and tears welled up in my eyes cos so much chio clothes cannot buy. They have H&M, Zara, Uniqlo HERE at my neighbourhood shopping centre leh! It’s not like I want to buy, but just showing you the contrast of shopping in SIN and HKG. I need to resist temptations.

ANW. Damnnnnnn unhappy that I had to wait for like about 2 hrs just to set up an account! 本小姐want to deposit money in your bank still must wait so bloody long ah?! Queue for 40 min until itouch no battery, then register need so many docs then wait again! Singapore is of course much faster, like queue at most 30min, reach there, show IC, give money, sign chop and zao! Well, on the other hand, the telecommunications in HKG is more advanced than in SIN. They already have fibre optics for I don’t know how long already, and it’s cheaper. Which is why I have this internet connection right (I’m assuming that I have it already)?

Alright… And seriously, I have been receiving a lot of messages (and sent some too), it makes me happy and sad. I feel like I need to borrow money from loan sharks to pay my phone bills when I get back to SIN already. If it’s not for NTU, I wouldn’t be so stupid to on my SIN line here. D:

It’s so easy to type a blog post of 800+ words, but so difficult just to write a short essay.

Oh, I just sieved through all the mails we had. And seriously, I think people in Hong Kong are being abused by junk mail. Most of them are like mortgage companies or loan companies. In 24 hours time, I will be at home packing! Just like what I have done today. But I would be in my flat in Hong Kong! Ain't that exciting?!

So it's going to be 1 month of cool breeze, sleeping on the floor, eating lots of food and get fat etc.
I hope this trip will turn my body clock around. Mummy, can I go jogging at the nearby beautiful park please? Maybe I can do tai chi with the people there also?

Finally done with packing and having dinner now. Got to do last minute read-ups and information-gathering later.

Plus I already filled up my 2 cupboards, it's insane.

I was too tired to mention yesterday. I was only left with $6 cash and there was no more bus to go home!! Dug every compartment in my bag for money and found nothing else (actually I even forgot to bring my ez-link card and the spare one ran out of money).
It was a while later that I realised can use nets to pay for cab fare. Thank goodness for technology.

I should have just settled down to apply for NTU and UNLV only right? Since SMU and NUS don't really have what I want. Now I have to face so much rubbish :( Self-torture only.

So there's english test comprising of comprehension and essay tomorrow + interview. Argh. Really, how many times must I emphasise that I HATE writing essays? My vocab is so limited like limited edition. This is really damn bloody torturing :( My sec school mates will know best.

For once and for all. SK = Seen Khan. Please go his blog. (He forced me to write this and refused to give me commission.)
So this is my 592nd post on blogger (this url), there are still some missing posts which I have yet to transfer from older blogs.

Results are finally out!! I was feeling pretty scared about this moment, thankfully my GPA didn't drop that much, but still sad that it dropped a bit. Haha.
I secretly wished for a 4, but of course I know it's pretty much impossible. I was complacent when doing the exam papers, if I don't know, I just skip and didn't have the time to come back to it..

My only worry now is about missing uni interviews since I'm going HK :\

I should procrastinate no more.

So today is a break from work, but nevertheless still a taxing day. Slept late and woke up early again (even earlier than for work) and headed to meet SK. He is dating me just to exploit my camera :( He took 227 photos, refused to let me blog most of them and wants me to send it to him! Where got such bf one?! I still have to go and charge the battery that he finished up.

Alright, I still love you okay. I just want that bag. I have been wanting to get a chio sturdy messenger bag for the longest time, since Sec 2?
But it's so insane, they cost almost $200!! More expensive than my camera, Polaroid, Nike shoes, any other bags, hand phone, hair dye, laptop (subsidised). You can call that a month's pocket money or 4 days of work. Quite extreme. I only scared I regret. What do you think?
Actually there isn't really much choices for me.
I used to eye on Manhatten Portage's polka dot series.
But they were kinda too small.
It's no longer a secret that I love polka dots. I remember using red pen to draw polka dots on my hand and show Joyce to freak her out :) Crescent times...

This is my current top choice from Manhatten Portage. Can totally match my army-boyfriend-to-be right? I tried it today, not that body hugging, doesn't look as comfortable as Crumpler?

I went to check Ion's Crumpler, but their choices were pathetic. The colours were all so dull. I would prefer like green, blue, purple, yellow, red? Can't decide. But these are the nicer ones from the net so far..

This is my favourite. It reminds me of fairfield though, then I will think of Joanne Ma'am. Haha.

This was suppose to be a happy blog post, but she spoilt it all :'(.
Seriously, I can't help but to cry almost every hair cut. Out of 10 hair cuts, 9 make me look more horrendous than before.
Damn it seriously. Why am I so bloody unlucky? Don't compare me to balding people please, I think I'm going to bald soon too. All these sleepless nights, I can feel my hair thinning. So sucky.

So I have been contemplating about cutting my fringe for a very long time, and today is the day I have decided to cut them since I look so shitty with that thick overhanging curtain that belongs nowhere. That made camwhoring very demoralizing for me even after I've bought Halimah's awesome camera with this beauty shot feature.

So I was checking online for tutorials on how people cut their fringe. And my mom keep saying I was wasting her time, she help me cut. I denied her offer repeatedly. It doesn't make sense anyway, she can go watch her TV and I do my own stuffs.

FML that she didn't allow me, I think I was too stupid to have allowed her to crawl over me also. Thinking that she's the best in everything. Really, she's NOT humble. Told her not to cut so short already and she still cut until like the fringe cover half my forehead. FML seriously. I look like an complete idiot now. I was really really damn angry. I would rather pay a professional $1000 for a good hair cut than this shit. I think I can cry if anyone laughs at my hair. And worse still, I have work tmrw. What if customers comment "Why they hire retards here?".

I'm seriously emoing and it's not even pms. I guess I'm angry at my mom for not letting me do things my own way. I have no idea how to vent my anger at this hour other than blasting Qian Tian, blogging, throwing my phone onto the bed and crying my eyes out.
Oh, I'm eating my second supper for tonight, spammed with lots of chili.

If I could, I would really wish to go jogging now, to my favourite places, even if it's in the middle of the night.

Here's an update!!
I've been working quite a lot recently and nothing else other than that. Poor SK. :(
Thankfully his not complaining yet cos I'm already feeling so guilty. (Hint hint)

So finally I was free on Monday to go date with SK, but I was so late and had to cab! :(
Was freaking stressed up over visa application stuffs for my trip and my brother wasn't doing anything significant to lighten up my load. (+ suffering from severe muscle aches) I think I don't deserve the cry and screwed up mood. Thankfully it's over now.

Soooo we went to catch Rango and eat from Orchard Central to Somerset 313 to Taka and went into all the Hello Kitty shops. Haha!
Personally, Rango was just an okok movie, I am Number Four was nicer (but different genre).

Tuesday was farewell lunch at school with the cohort + I went swimming with Jo the awesome swimming partner cos we are both so noobs. We spent like 10min figuring struggling with the locker cos it doesn't lock, then we went to used other lockers, forfeiting our previous coin deposits. Then we realised the previous lockers needed 2 coins instead of one! So I guess this cycle may continue? Just hope everyone puts in 2 coins unknowingly and then when I go back next time, I can just put in 1 coin. 20cents is a lot ok :(
Ohh, my freestyle is getting better and Jo is slightly improving at frog style (i refuse to say breast stroke). We played somersaults in the water and it was funnnn!!

Although it was a pity that we didn't get to go out as a class after the celebrations/lunch and EDBERT　FOO 几位 didn't come, I still had fun singing k with Meixian, Mandy, Melson, Wilson and SK! I gotta change my 招牌(signboard) song from Dao Dai, Jolin Tsai to something else already. Like Andy Lau's 中国人(Zhong Guo Ren) or something. Was I good at 梁山伯与朱丽叶(Liang Shan Bo Yu Zhu Li Ye)?

Met up with Minsi, Halimah, Xueli, Ashley, Audrey, Wee Ching and Mingsheng for dinner after wards :) Funny that we only have such bonding sessions when we are about to graduate. Lepak after which and home sweet home. I was so soooooo tired (only slept for 2hrs previously?)

And now... I NEED TO PREPARE FOR UNLV INTERVIEW TOMORROW! :( LAZY!

Eventful Day of a Waitress

I typed the title like an hour ago, then went to facebook and here I am, drained.

Let me have a bottle of beer to reward myself now :) I know SK is shaking his head in disgust.

I know I have been working at my dad's work place for sometime since before Chinese New Year, but today was the first time I was servicing when dim sum is being served. Oh..I love dim sums, too bad I wasn't the one eating them. It wasn't really busy but was draggy since customers came in at really staggered timings so I had super little rest time.

I think I served gay customers too! I'm quite neutral about this issue, and I kinda think gay people normally have high spending power, but also because of that, have high expectations of services. I have heard stories that they can be the bitchiest customers, doesn't apply to my customers yet.

For dinner, I was assigned the role of a host! I must say it's quite a slacker job BUT if you are both host and have to attend to tables, it's really quite restricting. Like you have to have your eyes stuck at the door, so I can't move around much. So anyway, maybe because it was slack at first, then after the hosting peak period was over, I was assigned to serve a private room of about 10 people.

I must must must say, they are really quite difficult to handle from the first course all the way to the last. Like seriously. Of course I don't really mind going the extra mile and all, but I don't actually think they are really appreciative, or are they selfish, don't care about my feelings?

First, one person will order coke, then maybe others succumb to peer pressure and order coke too like maybe 1 course later. There were a total of 4 cokes.
The same goes for the extra chili sauce that they asked for. Of course I was stupid enough. Lesson learnt: Just try to ask if they only want just 1, prompt them to ask their fellow dining mates too or even ask myself. Saves the hassle.

Second, I can say excuse me to one person in increasing volume, in three different languages, English, Mandarin and Cantonese so that I can clear her plate. BUT all her attention was on her blackberry! And her fellow dining mates don't give a damn about me too, so when I twisted my hands around to take her plate, I appeared rude and have to apologise. Like argh :( I can't be bothered actually. Haha. She was rude to be using the phone for so long during dinner and can't really control her daughter. Which brings me to the next point.

THREE! Mega big sighs. It makes me feel scared about having kids and then not being able to teach them well. The daughter was like about 4/5 with actually innocent/cute looks but seriously don't judge a cook by its cover. You would have probably thought that she was high on ecstasy. She came into the restaurant with red swollen eyes (sign of crying) already and she keeps on don't want to eat, run around, crawl around, play with knife, our expensive microphone, and nearly tripping me a couple of time. Are kids now a days too spoil? Are parents at total fault if they can't teach their children well? I think the mother was quite disgraced.

FOUR. They were being fussy over the dessert that came with the set menu. At the kitchen, we already had the drinks and glasses prepared for the dessert drink, then they told me they wanna change all to this other mango puree thing except one serving which will remain the same. OK. Then awhile later we realised not enough of the super tasty mango puree, so we suggested fresh mango puddings, they say don't want. So we went to make extra already, about to serve they wanted to change 2 to mango pudding for the kids. So we made extra for nothing! Like so :( :( :( Sighsss. Well, I guess I can't blame them, cos indecisive me does that sometimes too. Karma right?

Ok. Am i too long winded? I'm sorry that every post is such a torture for you. I'm just really tired and I want to whine/rant. I know I should be sleeping now since I barely slept for 4 hours last night. I don't know why I hate to sleep at night, maybe cos that's my personal time. I went to the library the day before and dozed off while reading there, have I mentioned this already?

So last night I finished up this book called "Tiananmen Square: June 4, 1989 (Days That Shook the World)". I first heard about this incident when I was in Hong Kong in Sec 1 and during the June holidays. Then on June 4th my relatives talked about it. I kept prying their mouths to find out what exactly was June 4th and they said it's Chinese students who protest kena roll over by tanks by order of government. +when that happened, the sky suddenly became overcast, pitch dark and Mao Ze Dong's portrait drop. In my my mine was like:
which is really scary la. I wanted to find out more about this event but what was on the net is quite limited. So thankfully, after 7 years I chance upon this book and I guess it kinda cleared my doubts. I shall assume that my relatives(aunties) exaggerated. The overcast thing was actually when the government shut of the lights at Tiananmen Square and then their troops went into the square to surround them. Well, that's just as scary.

As for Mao Ze Dong's portrait dropping, I guess they were trying to talk about this white Styrofoam statue that resembles Statue of Liberty (created by the pro-democratic Chinese) situated at the square to give them more motivation to persevere with the strike/hunger strike/both. This statue got pulled down by the government people, those military one. I just asked my mom again, she said the sky was really overcast and rain etc including the fall of the portrait, but should be coincidence.

It's not like I'm really interested in Chinese history or history in general. But because China has always been so secretive about it, trying to conceal what they have done just like how I conceal my eyebags. It makes me more curious about it. I came across names like Deng Xiao Ping, Zhou En Lai, (photo of young George Bush), Hou De Jian, Hu Yao Bang, Jian Zemin, Li Peng etc (for me to keep track and do research on)

I just realised the initials of Tian An Men is TAM..

So enough of this book. Reading is quite self-satisfying. So much things I need to do and it's 4am soon again! :\ Need to sleep sooon! NIGHTS.

Jo! You know everytime I go out I keep thinking of you! And I will always look out for Rilakkuma stuffs for you!
That day at Plaza Sing, I forgot that the boxy boxy shop (Toy Outpost I think) at cinema level got sell Rilakkuma stuffs also.
If you ever go Jurong Point, there's this Hello Kitty shop at the new wing opposite the new NTUC that has some stuffs also. Not much though..
VivoCity near GV also got one shop just recently changed to sell Hello Kitty and Rilakkuma stuffs! I think it's call miniature hobbies :)

What do you do when you shit? How long do you take to shit? Honestly, feel free to answer, you may appear anonymous (I spelt this word correctly w/o using spell check).

I normally play with my itouch or read. Haha!
I think it's super effective to read cos it's quiet and there's no distraction.
Plus I guess when something is being released, eg. shit from your asshole, there's a pulling action from you body to absorb stuffs to replace the "lost shit". So this time, read and you will gain knowledge!
As you can tell, all these are just bullshit alright.

Anyway! I went to the library yesterday morning and while reading, I dozed off cos I didn't catch any sleep. :\
I woke up at 1+ today, so my body clock is better now?
Plus I'm still tired, so hope I will come home to sleep early after work later..

I don't really like ppl to use "I Know Right". I don't understand how it sounds grammatically correct. Is it like asking someone "I know right?". So does it end with question mark or fullstop or what? :\ And Joyce uses it. Is it a norm among JC-educated peeps? Or is it I'm getting old and is refusing to break through the old tradition?

It is so difficult to keep up with time..So I didn’t go to the library in the end and didn’t bake when I’m back. But it’s an awesome day spent :) :)

First of all, I’m catching up A Tale of 2 Cities online while typing this post. I think I like the show cos of the show and I wanna see hot Joanne Peh! I kinda like her. And Rui En is so beautiful :) I love her hair!! And her!!

Oh! I expected Wen Long to punch Zheng Kai! I’m so smart. Why do I think I can act better than them? But too bad I look soooooo smelly face when I don’t smile, nobody will wanna watch my shows.

The rain doesn’t dampen the mood of meeting up with Joanne Ma’am. When reaching Dover MRT I called her and was trying to tell her which part of the train I was in. I was over excited and was literally shouting directions to her in the train. Haha!

Went to eat Din Tai Fung at Jurong Point!! I always order the same dishes- Dan Dan Mian and Xiao Long Bao! On a side note, I don’t really like the wig that Zhu Mi Mi is wearing in the drama, so not natural. But at least she’s image conscious, so fine. I don’t know why Ma’am prefers Zha Jiang Mian to Dan Dan Mian. Anyway, which Xiao Long Bao do you guys prefer? Crystal Jade or Din Tai Fung? Let me find out how to make a poll here. Ok. One trouble about having such an awesome ma’am/friend is that you will be scared that she wants to pay for everything. So everytime we go out, I have to be very conscious, maybe one day even need to sign contract before going out.

After which, had an impromptu meeting with Joyce to get her CIP stuffs, then supper for Pinksex neh neh! We had $1.30 plain prata that we had to wait for 25 min, Old Chang Kee curry puff and sweet talk’s lychee red tea! We (+Jaz) took train to Clementi to take 3 different buses to NUS to find Verna but she left for home already! Our facial reaction was like O.o shocked and “I can’t believe we are so unlucky”.It was already like 11+ and we bused to Verna’s house!! Haha! So whatever it is, it’s great to see my girlfriends even though for a short while and I keep getting scolding calls from my mom cos it’s so late. And Verna’s mummy is really awesome! She sent us home! :D I actually told myself that I can’t trouble her to send be home anymore the other time, but I did it. I need to practice better self-discipline.

Wish I can swim/run, bake, date with SK tmrw! And go library also? Do you think I should put my link on FB? And this one, do you think I should just have centre-parting? It’s so difficult to keepside parting when I keep having holes in my fringe and it’s hard to keep them to the side. The hair keeps falling to my face and it’s irritating. Or is it time to let Sharon cut hair for me? Then I will get good hair day everyday like Jo?

I don't remember drawing/tracing/colouring for the purpose of doing it for my friend. I didn't buy any materials just to make this card on purpose, that's my idea of like scrap-booking. Which is to use whatever materials you can find at home. Let's see... The red and pink hearts are from construction papers. The Chip and Dale note thingy from my organiser a few years back. The plastic heart from Mc'Donalds straw. Yellow Polaroid was a exposed Polaroid film. The Hello kitty was from my Hello Kitty cookie cutter packaging :)

Happy belated birthday Minsi!!

Okay! So this blog post is not exactly a blast I guesss.
I'm such a lazy bum bum..
EXAMS ARE (WERE?) OVER since a while ago and I'm still living with my screwed body clock.
Obviously I am not determined enough and my bf hasn't been threatening me. PLEASE HELP ME! Threaten me! Or else I will feel depressed and suicidal soon. I need to get a real life.
There's a mega long list of things I want to do/need to do. Eg. Apply for scholarships (ultimate dread), plan HK trip, sew and mend my clothes, bake short bread, go museum with SK etc..

There's much much much more seriously. Like packing up my room. Instead of packing it, it just gets messier and messier by day. I wake up everyday facing a new obstacle course. :( Why do I have so much bad habits?

So anyways, applying for uni and scholarships have been quite a hassle, but I gotta look on the bright side. There's internet and computer, if not I probably will be hesitating about furthering my studies. Almost everything requires you to write an essay and I can't really reuse them cos they sort of have like different topics. My life isn't that awesome that I have to write an essay about it, so I'm totally not enthu about it. Honestly, I don't even think I deserve a scholarship thinking that they have ultimate high standards. I'm starting to lose myself.

Oh, I really want to swim and jog, But there's always excuses not to. And guess what, I told myself that I want to blog daily too. Don't believe in my words please. I made the dough for shortbread (recipe from Jazreel) on Sat/Sun, but up till now it's still lying in my fridge. Obviously the Hello Kitty cookie cutter is not doing it's job well of seducing me. Tonight. I should be baking TONIGHT! (After catching 2 episodes of channel 9pm drama that I missed).

Speaking of dramas, I caught up with Gossip Girl S4 already! I seriously can't wait for ep 18, DAN AND BLAIR ARE GONNA KISS! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! MAD EXCITING!

It has been a great 5-day holidays.
Going back to Crescent and catching up slightly with my darling gfs :)
Being the csdnb. (I hope this is a inside joke and no one understands)

Working at my dad's work place as a waitress.
It's like my all time favourite job. No doubt I still love waitressing than my intern job.
Collected super lot of tips and ang paos :)
All the rotting and peeling skin, swollen and numb feet, aches at back, arms and thighs are worth it.

Now I have some money to set aside for my first aid/AED course, Tour Guiding course and hopefully more money for my HK trip and uni. Can't wait for holidays.. 23 more days if I'm not wrong! Time to log in to SAS to check my exam schedule. I'm probably the last!

And it's so awful that we are spending the last few weeks of school feeling frustrated over projects instead of cherishing our moments together.

This is probably not ranting. Just mild?

Anywayyy, dinner tonight wasn't suppose to be instant noodles and yellow-ed veggie.
I think my brother stole my dinner.

Andd....sighs. Everytime I buy those Mee Goreng instant noodle, there will people who cook it as noodle with soup, not dry noodle. Waste my money and break my heart only. Plus there's other normal instant noodles, why cook that one?

How does it feel when you see people taking shortcut and end up at the same level as you?
It kinda sucks. Like how my brother cooked the instant noodle by just adding the hot water when it's supposed to be cooked in boiling water. And tada, he gets supper (your instant noodle). Sure he has to suffer if he does this long term.

Life is unfair and fair, depends on how you see it.
I have seen so many people running away from responsibilities, so little brave people there are. Or are they being smart and cunning?

I have been saving quite a of money, or should I say that I haven't been overspending and drawing money from my bank? This is life without going out.

Can't wait for holidays like seriously. And I don't feel the CNY mood :\.
I think I will have a messy room and house for CNY, seriously no time pack.

It's so saddening to think that I have so much things to do and I still have to iron my own clothes at this insane hour. Sucks.

Was so mad sleepy just now that I fell asleep while shitting and while eating dinner (on a separate occasion).
I think I only slept for 4 hours last night.
Fall the whole holiday, I just can't fall asleep until 4am.

Oh! I donated blood! Yes. Even on the night that I slept for an hour, then donate blood and watch movie and stuff, I still slept at almost 4am. I was zombiefied but I just procrastinate about sleeping :\

Donating blood was great! I will go back 3 months later. :)
And the service there is like super good. The people are very friendly, I think they are better service providers, in the sense they can create small talks with you.

This month is going to be hell of a time. Like gonna be sleep deprived, hair loss, stress, eye bags, break out, etc :(

Just had an hour of shower and reflection session.
And I realised I have been missing out so much in life.

I always procrastinate and give excuses when it comes to doing things.
Be it passion or not. I don't know why even if I'm passionate about something, I always have excuses not to do it.

I will never be able to fulfill my dreams this way.

There are things that are too late for me to turn back now and I do feel sorrowful about them.
Like why didn't I try harder for them. Why was I so lazy and not determined? D:

So anyway, you can call this a new year resolution post. After exams, graduation, it's time to get a life.

I want to be a certified first aider again and continue to be one the rest of my life.
I want to work for my Hong Kong trip.
I want to join a meaningful CCA.
These are just some...I need to think of more.

As a kick start, I want to stop procrastinating and using Joyce as an excuse. I am thinking of donating blood tomorrow. Will it happen?

They are opened 9 am – 2 pm tomorrow.
So no more excuses please.

Recently I have been sleeping from 4+am till 2+pm everyday, that's about 10hrs!
Ohhhh I love to sleeeeep.
Cos that's when I can run away from the real world,
run away from doing projects.

How sad is my life. Really.

Anyways, here I am sharing a dream that I had this morning!
I don't know where it popped out from but I have a pet dog!!
I think its a he. His so fluffy and soft, cute and guai! Hardly barks.
And I was like hugging him everywhere I went and tickle him a lot and stuffs.
Then we went to this atas food court to eat and I asked my brother to hold him for me while I go get my food. When I came back, I found my doggy sitting in a tub of hot water!! OMGGGGGG :( :( :(
I took him out and starting crying and feeling helpless and such..
and the dream ended.
Ok, this dream is pretty plotless and pointless I know.

Maybe its because I was hugging soft toy to sleep (I hardly do that) so it felt really realistic..

Okayz. I have to get back to life..and do shitty projects.

But I still don't know you that well.

I only know you despise air-con, so I haven't been sleeping with air-con for the past 2 weeks. I wear a scarf to school to warm you. I drink lotsa of water. I eat no fast food. Drink no cold drinks.

However, you never seem to be satisfied. I don't like you. I don't want to be BFF with you. I can't wait to get rid of you. But I don't know how to. I have tried the expensive Robitussin, the normal Woods.

Nightmare

Just when I blogged about loving dreams.....
I was haunted by a nightmare last night.

It was a bad sleep with all the cough..
So the dream was like the whole class was having dinner at a 5* hotel restaurant. It was reaching midnight and I was talking to the security asking about part-time jobs and then there was a commotion going on with some of my classmates. Something like saw a ghost in the kitchen cooking, and the ghost was the daughter of the boss owning the restaurant. I was kinda freaked out already and when everyone gathered, the manager wanted to tell us the story about the ghost and Agnes stopped her. Saying that all her friends who learnt about the story and think about it had weird fruit lumps growing on their face, meaning lumps that resembled fruits. I was so scared and someone near me gossiped and I accidentally overheard them saying something like "found an umbrella in the toilet cubicle where she died". Then I couldn't stopped my mind from thinking about it and I was so freaked out I felt something follow me home. So scared that I had to peeeee and rushed to the toilet and peeed all over! :\
And I could feel the ghost around me or something but I just had to pee.

Finally I woke up and went to the toilet to relieve myself. Haha. I hate peeing dreams :(
